Seit 1873
Traditionelles Konditoreihandwerk
mit Herz & Geschichte
From a single coffeehouse vision in 1873 to Vienna's most beloved pastry manufactory — discover the story behind every Guglhupf.
The Landtmann Legacy
When Franz Landtmann opened his doors on 1 October 1873, he had a vision: to run the most elegant coffeehouse in the city. He succeeded — and 150 years later, Café Landtmann still represents Viennese coffeehouse culture like no other, celebrated the world over.
One of the reasons for this enduring fame is the Guglhupf, our magnificent cakes, and the pastries baked fresh every day with love in our in-house manufactory.

Die Manufaktur
All our Guglhupf, cakes, and pastries have been lovingly handcrafted for over four decades at our manufactory in Alt Erlaa, Vienna. Our master pastry chefs bake with passion — and you can taste every bit of it.
Every product that leaves our manufactory meets the highest standards of quality — from the carefully selected ingredients to the final finishing touch. Tradition and craftsmanship, baked into every slice.
